Role Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Security Clearance Analyst Team Leader to lead our team in handling complex personal security clearance processes.

About the Role:

This is a critical position that requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage a complex process. You will be responsible for leading high-performing teams, assessing clearance cases, and providing sound advice on clearance outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process security clearances meticulously, adhering to the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) and industry best practices.
  • Conduct thorough Quality Assurance checks on Personal Security Files (PSFs), ensuring alignment with standard procedures and the PSPF.
  • Collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders to deliver efficient caseload management and execution.

Requirements:

  • Extensive vetting experience in Government or similar high-security environments.
  • A minimum Negative Vetting Level 1, with opportunity to upgrade to Negative Vetting 2 as required.
  • Certificate IV in Government (Personnel Security Vetting).
  • Leadership: Experience in leading teams and mentoring security analysts.
  • Attention to Detail: Scrutiny of extensive data and identification of potential security risks.
  • Quality Assurance: Firm commitment to uphold high-quality standards in vetting processes and documentation.
