Speech Pathologist Job Description

About the Role:

Our multidisciplinary team is seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to join our team based in Ballarat. The successful candidate will provide evidence-based therapeutic supports to clients in schools, homes, and the broader community.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload and provide timely evidence-based therapeutic supports.
  • Deliver speech pathology services to clients.
  • Assess clients' communication and swallowing levels of function and capacity.
  • Recommend provision of Assistive Technology to promote independence.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Positive, can-do approach and mindset.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, clients, and support networks.
  • Degree qualified Speech Pathologist.
  • Current certified practising membership with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA).
