About the Role

The Technology Strategy & Enablement Manager is a key position within our client's organization, responsible for developing and executing the IT strategy. This role will act as the conduit between the technology function and the business, positioning the individual as the trusted adviser to the senior leadership team and board.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Corporate Strategy function to ensure the technology strategy aligns with the corporate strategy.
  • Build long-term strategic plans for the technology function in consultation with business leaders.
  • Analyze the existing IT environment to ensure maximum performance and value is delivered to the business.
  • Represent the Technology function to business stakeholders across all areas of operations.
  • Oversee the IT architecture, including future planning for the company.
  • Lead architectural governance initiatives, including technology standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Drive continuous improvement throughout the Technology function while promoting best practice at all levels.
  • Develop an integrated people, process, and technology plan to deliver optimum performance and increased human capability.

About You

We are seeking an individual with proven experience in IT/technology leadership positions, who can demonstrate competence in the above tasks. The ideal candidate will have a track record of partnering with senior and board-level executives, effectively challenging and influencing during interactions, and positioning themselves as the subject expert for all technology-related queries.

The successful candidate will bring expertise in developing and executing an IT strategy for an enterprise-level organization, with a proven ability to transform a business-enabling IT function into one that operates as a business driver. A strategic thinker with a natural curiosity for new technology and its practical applications, the individual will possess a defined communication style and corporate presence, allowing them to relate to senior leaders and non-IT stakeholders alike.
