Equipment Coordinator Role Overview

As the key liaison between our hire branch, customers and their projects, you will provide expert advice, conduct pickups and deliveries, and ensure our equipment is ready for hire.

This role requires exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional outcomes and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for providing technical support to customers, including instructing them on how to safely use our equipment, as well as performing routine maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Instruct and demonstrate to customers on how to safely use our equipment.
  2. Conduct pickups and deliveries of equipment from customer sites, ensuring safe loading and unloading procedures are followed.
  3. Provide technical support to customers, including troubleshooting issues with equipment.
  4. Maintain high standards of equipment quality through regular servicing and minor repairs.
  5. Perform cleaning of branch facilities and maintain equipment as required.
  6. Conduct equipment 'check in' and 'check out' inspections to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's licence
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy equipment
