We are seeking a proactive and experienced Facilities Maintenance Specialist to oversee the maintenance and operations of occupied buildings, common areas, and grounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the main contact for all facility maintenance issues.
  • Manage planned and reactive maintenance including cleaning, furniture, building layout changes, air-conditioning, fire services, water/sewage, and more.
  • Coordinate contractors for building and site services.
  • Prepare scopes of work, manage work requests, and ensure safety and statutory compliance.
  • Oversee cleaning and water management contracts.
  • Conduct risk assessments and prepare Job Safety Analyses.
  • Maintain asset registers and inspection reports.
  • Manage furniture inventory and coordinate stakeholder meetings.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Tertiary or trade qualifications in Facility Management, Civil, Building, or Construction.
  • Certificate IV or Diploma in a relevant field.
  • Strong project supervision and contract management skills.
  • Extensive building maintenance and facility management experience.
  • Ability to manage budgets, scopes of work, and construction methods.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and computer skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and WHS regulations.
  • Valid 'C' or 'CA' class driver's license (vehicle provided for site visits).
