Role Overview

The role of Machine Operator is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating machines in various roles, including stacking, loading, and driving. You will also be involved in monitoring the flow of cement and other raw materials, adjusting controls to meet product run specifications, and conducting quality audits on samples.

Key responsibilities will include performing machine cleaning activities, participating in maintenance down days, and ensuring process efficiencies are achieved and maintained. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring production is in line with the specified production schedule and that product quality meets relevant specifications.

Success in this role requires strong mechanical aptitude, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A fork lift license is preferred but not essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a quality assurance environment is highly desirable
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to use computers for data entry and retrieval
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
