About the Role
  • This role is at the heart of our transformational journey, collaborating closely with Retail teams and Business Bank to ensure loans are signed off efficiently and effectively.
  • You will play a key role in mentoring others, fostering a best-practice risk culture, and contributing to strategic initiatives that support our organisation's growth ambitions.
Your Responsibilities
  • Analyse, structure, and decision SME and Middle Market submissions with precision and purpose.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members in their credit assessment and decision-making processes.
  • Contribute to the development of credit policies and procedures that align with our organisation's risk appetite.
About You
  • A seasoned professional in credit or retail finance, bringing a strong skill set and experience from a similar role.
  • A deep understanding of credit risk, or perhaps a relationship management background where engaging with customers and credit writing is second nature.
  • The ability to communicate with empathy and clarity - whether in reports, meetings, or one-on-one conversations.
