Job Title: Business Insights Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Insights Specialist to contribute to delivering on our purpose, vision, and strategic priorities. As a Business Insights Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing applications for Australian Financial Services and Australian Credit licences.

The Team Overview

Our Licensing team is the front-line gatekeeper for regulated participants. We assess applications from those seeking a financial services or consumer credit licence, or to become registered to provide company audit and SMSF audit services to consumers and businesses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessing basic to moderately complex Australian Financial Services Licence and Australian Credit Licence applications.
  • Dealing with enquiries relating to assessment and decision making.
  • Communicating effectively with applicants and preparing documentation on issues identified during the assessment process.
  • Providing recommendations and preparing documentation for refusal of licence applications.
  • Liaising and negotiating with internal and external stakeholders.

You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in researching, analysing, and interpreting complex information and legislation. Your experience will help resolve customer queries and achieve impactful outcomes.

About You:

Applicants need to have a relevant tertiary qualification and strong communication skills. They should be able to present information clearly to diverse audiences, with editing skills and the ability to distil key messages.
