Role Summary

This exciting opportunity is to join our team as a Financial Services Credit Specialist, where you will play a key role in driving the growth of our business by assessing and processing credit applications for dealers.

You will work closely with our Regional Dealer Credit Manager to ensure that all applications are processed within required timeframes, providing exceptional service to our dealers and internal customers.

As a highly skilled and experienced credit specialist, you will be responsible for undertaking dealer and fleet credit assessments, registering security interests, and administering security documents in accordance with departmental policies and processes.

Additionally, you will assist senior commercial analysts on commercial credit assessment and settlements, ensuring that all projects and responsibilities are completed within allocated timeframes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and process credit applications for dealers, ensuring timely delivery of results.
  • Work closely with the Regional Dealer Credit Manager to ensure compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
  • Undertake dealer and fleet credit assessments, registering security interests, and administering security documents.
  • Assist senior commercial analysts on commercial credit assessment and settlements.
  • Ensure all delegated projects and responsibilities are completed within allocated timeframes.
Requirements

To succeed in this challenging and rewarding role, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Commerce/Business/Accounting or several years' equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience in accounting and/or finance and exposure to commercial lending.
  • Preferred exposure to dealer or fleet lending and commercial processes.
  • Positive attitude with high attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively.
  • Able to work both independently and within a team environment.
  • Experience in automotive or financial services industry preferable.
