Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Road Design Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the delivery of road design projects, ensuring they are completed within agreed timelines and budgets.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Leading road design project teams and mentoring team members to improve their skills and capabilities.
  • Identifying and resolving technical issues related to road design.
  • Collaborating with other design disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A degree or qualification relevant to Civil Engineering.
  • Proficiency in 12D is essential.
  • Proficiency in Bentley MicroStation and OpenRoads is highly desirable.
  • Significant years of experience in a project delivery environment with demonstrated participation in the delivery of major road infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of Austroads Guide to Road Design is essential, knowledge and experience in applying other state-based standards is desirable.
  • Knowledge of local authority CADD standards and deliverables.
