Business Development Role

The Australian Federal Police is a dynamic and effective law enforcement agency that provides policing throughout Australia.

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Business Partner, providing strategic advice on procurement strategies specialising in capital works projects.

This role offers the opportunity to showcase your professionalism and stakeholder engagement skills, building and maintaining collaborative relationships with external and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic advice on best practice procurement and procurement strategies specialising in capital works projects.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop team members and engage with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of project outcomes.
  • Manage project procurement, contract management activities, and participate in the negotiation of contracts and agreements.
Requirements
  • Australian Citizenship.
  • Negative Vetting 1 (Secret) security clearance or ability to obtain one.
  • Demonstrated experience in project support, finance, administration, including budgets, financial management, reporting, procurement and contract management.
  • Demonstrated understanding and working experience of Government procurement including policies and legislation.
