Job Summary:

Banquets supervisors are responsible for the smooth operation of banquets and events in a hotel environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect staff grooming and attire, rectifying any deficiencies
  • Communicate with guests, colleagues, or departments to meet guest needs
  • Respond to and fulfill special banquet event arrangements
  • Set up banquet areas/rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper furniture/equipment setup
  • Inspect table set-ups for cleanliness, neatness, and adherence to group requirements and company standards
  • Document pertinent information in department logbooks

Requirements:

  • A warm & welcoming demeanor
  • Availability to work weekends
  • Previous supervisor experience is advantageous
