The Manufacturing Operations Manager is responsible for leading the introduction of new products into manufacturing. This involves planning, validation and manufacturing transfer of multiple projects, ensuring all aspects are ready for product launch.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage new product introductions.
- Develop project plans, monitor risks and resourcing requirements.
- Enhance manufacturability and servicing through design for manufacturability assessments.
- Manage process planning including process flow, failure mode and effects analysis, equipment selection and validation.
- Lead problem-solving teams for technical and process issues.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing or Quality Engineering.
- 5+ years' experience in project management focusing on manufacturing.
- Previous track record of transferring small to medium size development projects to manufacturing.
- Experience with phase gate design process.
- Design for manufacturability expertise.
- Ability to influence engineering and operations professionals.
