We are seeking a Production Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of our production operations. You will be working closely with our design and manufacturing teams to develop and implement new processes and technologies that drive efficiency and quality.
Main Responsibilities:- Assessing and optimising manufacturability of new products
- Design and development of welding and production assembly jigs, fixtures, and gauges
- Launching new production processes in metal fabrication, welding, power coating and assembly
- Creating Bills of Materials, routings, and product costing in ERP/MRP systems
- Leading PPAP activities including methods of PFMEA, SOPs, and trial builds
- Driving continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in a manufacturing engineering or production engineering role
- Strong hands-on skills in metal fabrication, tooling design, and process development
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, technical drawings, and GD&T
- Deep understanding of manufacturing readiness, quality control, and root cause analysis
- Exposure to automotive processes a bonus.
