We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Disability Support Worker to join our team. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities.

About the Role

This is a casual employment opportunity where you will be working directly with Easecare as a disability support worker. You will be responsible for providing individualized support to clients in their homes and in the community around Melbourne.

  • You will assist clients in their daily lives, ensuring they receive the care and support they need to live independently.
  • You will work closely with client Support Coordinators, Plan Nominees, and next-of-kin to gather accurate details for client Care Plans.
  • You will coordinate with the Accounts & Payroll team for shift confirmation and adjustments.
  • You will transport clients to appointments and community access, as per client requirements.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, making a real difference in the lives of others.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Evident experience in Disability Care and the NDIS.
  • Fluent and strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Updated First Aid & CPR certification.
  • A valid Driver's License and own vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
  • A current Police Check and Working With Children Check.
  • NDIS Worker Screener Check and COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate (as per current government guidelines).
