Registered Nurse Vacancy

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team for a short-term contract in Central Queensland.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Senior RNs with leadership skills and experience in managing wards, including emergency and triage scenarios.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with QLD iEMR systems (FirstNet, PowerChart) and proficiency in utilizing them.
  • Previous experience working in Australia, specifically QLD Health, and/or Mackay HHS.

Mandatory Competencies:

  • BLS and ALS competency
  • Emergency Triage Education Kit (ETEK)
  • Manual and patient handling
  • Infection control
  • Aggressive behaviour management
  • Mandatory reporting by Registered Nurses and Midwives
  • Medications management

Candidates must agree to undertake online induction training and any other requested training. AHPRA registration and the right to work in Australia are mandatory requirements.
