Job Overview

We are seeking a high-performing Sponsorship Manager to develop and execute a sponsorship strategy.

This role will lead multi-stakeholder planning, execution, and performance management of commercial and community partnerships. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering to key performance indicators (KPIs) and addressing underperformance with corrective actions.

The ideal candidate will have at least 8+ years' experience in a fast-paced marketing environment within a large organisation, and possess strong strategic, analytical, influencing and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the company's sponsorship strategy
  • Lead the multi-stakeholder planning, execution, and performance management of a portfolio of commercial and community partners
  • Address underperformance with corrective actions and execute plans to optimise partnership value and improve ROI from each partnership
  • Use insights to make informed decisions and deliver continuous improvement

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8+ years' experience in a fast-paced marketing environment within a large organisation
  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing/Communications or related discipline
  • Previous experience in leading sponsorship relationships with a proven record of delivering to KPIs
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective internal and external stakeholder relationships at a senior level
  • Extensive strategic, analytical, influencing and negotiation skills
