The RTO Compliance Officer oversees the group's overall compliance functions, ensuring quality standards and controls are evident in RTO operations. This role requires an experienced compliance expert to manage state government funding contracts and ensure regulatory requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Quality Management: Monitor and maintain quality data related to delivery of training and assessment
  • RTO Reporting: Provide regular updates on RTO compliance status during management meetings
  • Compliance Systems: Develop and implement effective procedures for administrative reporting, including funding requirements and statistical reports
  • Training and Assessment: Ensure training and assessment materials are compliant with regulatory bodies before release
  • Student Eligibility: Assess student eligibility in line with State Government Funding guidelines
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • VET Standards: In-depth understanding of VET standards, guidelines, and legislation
  • Audit Experience: Exposure to internal and external audits
  • RTO Compliance: Strong knowledge of RTO standards and state funding contracts (VIC, NSW, QLD & SA)
  • Multitasking: Highly developed skills in managing multiple tasks and competing priorities, meeting deadlines
