
Community Engagement Specialist

Our organization seeks a skilled Community Engagement Coordinator to support partnerships, community engagement and the delivery of inclusive employment initiatives.
This role will involve developing and maintaining effective relationships with multiple stakeholders, including disability services, education providers and community groups. The successful candidate will also facilitate collaboration between external partners and internal teams to ensure participant needs are addressed.
Key Responsibilities- Developing and maintaining effective partnerships across multiple stakeholder groups
- Establishing and nurturing strategic relationships with disability services, RTOs and TAFEs, schools and other community groups
- Increasing commenced caseloads through relationship building in the community
- Facilitating collaboration between external partners and internal teams
- Attending and supporting industry events, market days and showcases, representing our organization to employers, service providers and participants
- Generating monthly Community Development reports and Employment Services Areas profiles, collating data within our portal
- Supporting our network of employers on adoption of disability employment practices
- Experience in employment services, with knowledge of disabilities and the disability support sector
- Strong skills in identifying, assessing and developing new opportunities aligned with business strategy
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills and the ability to manage competing demands
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Proven project management skills, with the ability to take ownership of tasks and see them through to completion
- Self-motivated, autonomous and capable of maintaining strong relationships both internally and externally
- Attention to detail, high standards of professionalism and customer service excellence
- Must hold a valid driver's license as travel throughout the region will be required
