Job Title

The role of a Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse is a highly rewarding opportunity to hone clinical skills and provide quality patient care. Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will work closely with a supportive team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform duties with the support of Department Managers, Clinical Nurses, Team and Shift Leaders to deliver quality patient care in line with hospital values and strategic direction.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Relevant registration with AHRPA as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum 12 months cardiac cath lab experience or equivalent vascular theatre nursing experience
  • Interventional cardiology procedural skills such as PCI and structural heart procedures
  • Proven cardiac rhythm management procedural and recovery skills
  • Invasive monitoring including recognition of arterial and right heart pressures/waveforms, and balloon pump management
  • Experience with sheath management pre/peri/post removal
  • Experience in cardiac nursing and/or critical care; advanced life support desirable
