About the Role:

  • Assist tradesmen with general hand duties, ensuring timely completion of tasks and maintaining a high level of productivity.
  • Coordinate facilities subcontractors, overseeing their activities to ensure seamless integration with our operational processes.
  • Verify that plant and equipment operate within safety standards, adhering to regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Maintain optimal stock levels, implementing inventory management strategies to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
  • Coordinate contractors working on/in the facility, guaranteeing a smooth workflow and minimizing disruptions.
  • Monitor and replenish gas and fuel stocks on-site, ensuring continuous supply and availability.
  • Ensure housekeeping of the facility, promoting a clean and safe working environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A trade/maintenance background is advantageous, demonstrating relevant knowledge and experience.
  • Prioritize tasks and responsibilities effectively, allocating time and resources to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills, managing multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Exhibit a can-do approach with flexibility in handling tasks, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Hold a current driver's license, facilitating transportation and logistics.
  • Familiarity with the product is advantageous, enhancing your understanding and ability to perform the role.
