Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Advisor to join our team. The successful candidate will oversee health, safety and environmental practices within the energy and natural resources sector.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a meaningful impact in the industry.

The HSE Advisor will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance and promoting a safe work environment across various sites.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and systems in line with industry regulations.
  • Conduct regular workplace inspections to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Provide guidance and training to staff on HSE protocols and best practices.
  • Investigate incidents and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for improvement.
  • Monitor compliance with safety legislation and company standards.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

Relevant qualifications in health, safety, or environmental management

Strong experience in the energy and natural resources industry

Solid understanding of Australian HSE legislation and standards

Proven ability to manage and resolve safety-related issues effectively

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
