Overview

HSE Advisor at Built is a true Line 2 advisory position. You'll be responsible for supporting project teams to implement their Built HSE Plan. You'll work with multiple teams and site managers to ensure they operate by our Built Worthy values, and proactively prevent operational safety, wellbeing and environmental incidents. Location: Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, predominantly on a 40-storey high-rise tower in Chifley, shaping Sydney's skyline.

Responsibilities
  • Support project teams in implementing the Built HSE Plan.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to site teams and stakeholders on systems, safety and wellbeing.
  • Act as a credible partner with knowledge of the regulatory landscape.
  • Work with external authorities and consultants.
  • Influence HSE behaviours, driving positive, consistent change.
  • Predominantly site based on the 40-storey tower in Chifley and other major projects as required.
  • Ensure operations are aligned with Built Worthy values and regulatory requirements; proactively prevent incidents.
Qualifications
  • Level IV Certification in Workplace Training and Assessment.
  • Understanding of project processes, operational HSE functions and regulatory requirements including incident investigation methodology.
  • Ability to work at pace across a number of teams with competing priorities.
  • Experience and understanding of high-rise and major risk projects.
  • A collaborative and agile approach – you know how to adapt quickly and influence with credibility.
