About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Support Coordinator to join our team in regional Queensland. As a Support and Empowerment Specialist, you will work closely with participants to navigate the NDIS and interpret their individual packages, ensuring they receive the most out of their plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Empowering participants to make informed choices about their lives
  • Coordinating services to support participants in living fulfilling and meaningful lives within their community
  • Engaging with key stakeholders, including government agencies, community service providers, and families, to ensure seamless support delivery
  • Strengthening participants' ability to coordinate their own supports, enabling them to live their best life
About You

To be successful, you must possess:

  • A working knowledge of the NDIS (desirable)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A commitment to best practice
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • The ability to quickly and effectively engage consumers
  • The ability to work with culturally and linguistically diverse communities and individuals
Role Requirements:
  • Certificate IV in Mental Health (desirable)
  • A current minimum P1 'C' class Queensland driver's licence
  • A currently registered, roadworthy, and fully comprehensive insured vehicle
  • First Aid and CPR certificates (ability to obtain)
  • A Positive Notice Working with Children (blue card) (ability to obtain)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (ability to obtain)
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety & You'
