Business Development Manager

We are seeking a seasoned professional to drive business growth and build long-term relationships with clients in Canberra and surrounding areas.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who can leverage their expertise in structured cabling solutions to contribute to the success of our organization.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in similar roles, possess strong organizational skills, and be committed to continuous self-improvement.

About the Role:
  1. Provide remote and onsite technical support to ensure informed business decisions regarding warranties, installation practices, and adherence to relevant standards.
  2. Collaborate proactively with the sales team to ensure the role is recognized as a value-add by both internal staff and external customers.
  3. Work closely with global technical teams to share technical knowledge, develop globally aligned solutions, and create a seamless global technical organization.
  4. Contribute to the online Customer Service Portal system, including the development of technical white papers, supporting documentation, and training materials.
  5. Maintain and update records, testing parameters, and other necessary information to support the sales organization in securing projects and business opportunities.
Key Qualifications:
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the structured cabling industry.
  • Strong understanding of the Structured Cabling marketplace in ANZ and deep technical knowledge of copper and fibre Structured Cabling Solutions.
  • Background in Structured Cabling Installation practices and a solid understanding of relevant industry standards.
  • Strong organizational skills to anticipate, plan, prioritize, and manage workload independently.
Bonus Requirements:
  • BICSI - RCDD accreditation.
  • Ability to build relationships and influence key internal and external stakeholders.
