Risk and Compliance Professional

This role is critical to the success of our organization's operations, focusing on maintaining a robust and efficient platform to support growth and enhance operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Support: Provide guidance and support to a small team in risk and compliance matters, including review of contractual agreements and client relationships.
  • Workflow Management: Oversee and manage team workflows and key risk and compliance activities, ensuring compliance with various regulatory obligations.
  • CORporate Enquiries: Respond to queries from the practice regarding corporate and risk and compliance matters.
  • Compliance Oversight: Oversee compliance management in relation to licensed or registrable activities, ensuring adherence to AFSL regulations and other relevant laws.
  • Regulatory Awareness: Stay up-to-date with new legislative and regulatory developments, driving the implementation of these changes, including supporting the design and rollout of new systems, policies, and training programs.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate, report, and present in various forums in relation to risk and compliance matters.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 6-10 years of risk and compliance experience within a broad professional services environment.
  • Education: Degree in Law, Commerce, Accounting, Business, or risk and compliance certifications preferred but not essential.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge and awareness of relevant laws and regulations, including risk and compliance best practices and frameworks.
