Enrolled Nurse

We are seeking an Enrolled Nurse to join our team at Mount Gambier and Districts Health Service, part of the Limestone Coast Local Health Network. As an Enrolled Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a collaborative and supportive healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities- Work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to assist with the provision of professional patient care.
- Maintain cooperative working relationships with the healthcare team and implement appropriate nursing care.
- Plan and prioritize your work program to achieve defined outcomes and exercise judgment when solving problems.
- Provide verbal and documented information to patients, healthcare team members, and the public, and contribute to ongoing professional development.
- Work with diverse patient populations, including the aged, children, youth, women, and their families.
- Recognize and respond to clinical deterioration or incidents and escalate appropriately.
- You will be an Enrolled Nurse registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold a current practising certificate.
- You will have experience in nursing and/or midwifery care in a healthcare setting, with a strong understanding of the role of the Enrolled Nurse.
- You will possess excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with a broad range of people.
