Enrolled Nurse

We are seeking an Enrolled Nurse to join our team at Mount Gambier and Districts Health Service. As an Enrolled Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with the provision of professional patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Maintain cooperative working relationships with the healthcare team and implement appropriate nursing care.
- Plan and prioritize your work program to achieve defined outcomes and exercise judgment when solving problems.
- Provide information to patients, healthcare team members, and the public within your scope of practice.
- Work with diverse patient populations, including the aged, children, youth, women, and their families.
- Recognize and respond to clinical deterioration or incidents and escalate appropriately.
- You will be an Enrolled Nurse registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold a current practising certificate.
- You will have experience in nursing and/or midwifery care in a healthcare setting and be able to work cohesively within a multidisciplinary environment.
- You will have strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills and be able to engage with a broad range of people.
- You will be able to maintain confidentiality and have a sound knowledge of the Enrolled Nurse role within the healthcare setting.
