Enrolled Nurse Position

We are seeking an Enrolled Nurse to join our team at Mount Gambier Hospital, providing high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to patients in our Private Ward.
As an Enrolled Nurse, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse/Midwife, assisting in delivering person-centred care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing professional nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse/Midwife.
- Supporting the Registered Nurse/Midwife in implementing person-centred care plans.
- Working under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse/Midwife while taking responsibility for your own actions and accountability in care provision.
- Monitoring patient conditions and reporting any changes to the supervising nurse or midwife.
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements in nursing practice.
As an Enrolled Nurse, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting in providing high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to patients within the Private Ward.
- Supporting the Registered Nurse/Midwife in implementing person-centred care plans.
- Working under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse/Midwife while taking responsibility for your own actions and accountability in care provision.
- Monitoring patient conditions and reporting any changes to the supervising nurse or midwife.
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements in nursing practice.
To be successful in this role, you will need to:
- Be Enrolled or eligible for enrolment as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
