Investment Advisor - Superannuation

We are seeking a skilled Investment Advisor to join our team. As an Investment Advisor, you will play a key role in advising leading Australian and global institutional investors on their direct and indirect investments across various traditional and emerging asset classes.

This includes working closely with Partners and the wider team to gain exposure to complex and interesting transactions in the market. You will have the opportunity to advise clients from diverse sectors, including government, healthcare, infrastructure, media, and banking.

Our structure means you will receive exposure to multiple Partners within your practice group and a wide variety of work. We encourage lawyers to find their niche and specialise in areas they are interested in, while building a strong foundation across their field.

  • Advising clients on investment structures and activities, including pooled fund investments, co-investments alongside managers, funds-of-one, direct investments/JVs, capital partnerships, and other closely-held fund structures into private market assets such as real estate and infrastructure.
  • Assisting superannuation and other investors in relation to regulatory and compliance issues associated with their investment activities.
Key Responsibilities:

Advise leading Australian and global institutional investors on their direct and indirect investments across various traditional and emerging asset classes.

Assist superannuation and other investors in relation to regulatory and compliance issues associated with their investment activities.

Requirements:

Experience: Experience working in funds, superannuation, or financial services, ideally from a leading top-tier, national, or international firm, or an in-house team.

Background: A background in financial services, with experience in investments or funds-related transactions and matters, including across the suite of private capital asset classes.

Skills: Excellent academics, passion to specialise in investments work with a focus on clients in the superannuation sector, while still building generalist expertise.
