Job Title: Support Companion

 

We are seeking a compassionate Support Companion to join our team. As a Support Companion, you will play a vital role in empowering the independence and improving the quality of life for older people living in their own homes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide care and companionship to clients in their own homes
  • Help at home with housekeeping, grocery shopping, or meal preparation
  • Assist with personal care, including hygiene, toileting, showering, dressing, and mealtime assistance
  • Transport clients to appointments or shopping trips
  • Accompany clients on outings or assist with Healthy Living for Seniors activities

 

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent is advantageous
  • Similar experience providing client-centred care
  • Current First Aid certificate
  • Driver's licence and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle
