Senior Advisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Advisor to lead our product projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the strategic coordination and delivery of product-related projects across TAFE Queensland.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, with the ability to achieve organisational objectives and enhance team performance. You will also have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and sustain successful working partnerships with both staff and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of significant, complex and diverse product-related projects across TAFE Queensland, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and project deliverables and deadlines.
  • Actively engage with cross-functional stakeholders to scope, prioritise, and resource projects effectively.
  • Manage risks, issues, and dependencies across the product portfolio, implementing mitigation strategies and reporting mechanisms.
  • Provide leadership and direction to a team of Project Coordinators, ensuring consistent project delivery, progression according to schedules, risk management and accurate reporting.
  • Establish and maintain project governance frameworks, documentation standards, and reporting tools to support transparency and accountability.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in project management practices, tools, and systems to enhance efficiency and outcomes.
