Entry Level Civil/Mechanical Engineer

This role offers hands-on experience and the opportunity to contribute to real-world projects in civil/mechanical engineering. As a member of our power team, you will be involved in all aspects of transmission line design for new lines, relocations, upgrades, and fiber optic additions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support various engineering tasks to develop technical, social, and ethical skills.
  • Learng basic principles of civil/structural/mechanical engineering.
  • Assist with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations and analysis.
  • Support preparation of final design plans, special provisions, and cost estimates.
  • Collect and maintain project documentation.
  • Complete training on assigned tasks.
  • Exercise responsible decision-making regarding company resources and conduct.
Requirements:
  • Actively enrolled in an accredited civil or mechanical engineering program.
  • Demonstrated interest in civil or mechanical engineering and a strong desire to advance skills related to our work and projects.
  • Competent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Basic proficiency with technical writing, office automation, software, spreadsheets, technology, and tools.
  • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by health and safety policies.
