We are seeking a dedicated individual to empower people with disabilities to live independently and achieve their goals.

About the Role

As a support worker, you will assist NDIS participants in achieving their goals through hands-on capacity building. You will work with individuals with disabilities to enhance their participation and inclusion in the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist participants in learning essential life skills
  • Encourage participants to grow as individuals and achieve their desired outcomes
  • Work with participants to identify goals and set action plans
  • Provide transportation support and explore legal responsibilities
  • Liaise with disability employment providers to work towards employment-based goals

Requirements include a Certificate III or above in Community Services & Individual Support or relevant experience. Additionally, a proven ability to build individual capacity to learn new skills is required. A valid WWCC, NDISWC, and police check (or willingness to obtain) are also necessary. Full drivers license is mandatory. Speaking Cantonese is highly desired.
