About the Role:

We are looking for someone with a strong background in electronics maintenance and repair. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing malfunctioning electronic equipment, installing and repairing electronic systems, and ensuring that all equipment is properly calibrated and installed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out thorough diagnosis and corrective action on malfunctioning electronic equipment
  • Install and repair electronic systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of equipment
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of electronic equipment procedures from assembly, testing, and calibration to installation
  • Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus using test equipment and replace damaged or broken wires and cables using hand tools
  • Replace faulty electronic components of machines before and after projects
  • Manage stocks of supplies and equipment
  • Test machines and electronic equipment to diagnose faults using various diagnostic tools, including visual inspection
  • Perform preventative maintenance on test equipment
  • Maintain logs
  • Diagnose and repair defective parts to ensure correct functioning of machines, reassembling, testing, and adjusting equipment
  • Ability to work according to health and safety policy and guidelines

Requirements:

  • Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma in a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • Able to perform analytical tasks with awareness of occupational health and safety regulations
  • Mechanical competence and know-how
  • Ability to break down complex technical information into easily digestible language
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Fast learner to understand and apply new knowledge and techniques

What We Offer:

The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $90,000 per annum, plus superannuation. If you are a motivated and experienced electronics professional looking for a new challenge, please submit your application through 11 Recruitment.
