**Job Description:**

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the hardware team, encompassing Electronics, FPGA, and Mechanical engineers.
  • Set technical direction and establish goals for the team.
  • Propose, review, and support the design tools utilised by the team.
  • Drive continuous improvement in development practices, with an emphasis on automation and toolchain enhancement.
  • Establish and uphold team-specific quality control practices and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure well-integrated designs.
  • Create personal work packages with defined deliverables and provide regular progress updates.
  • Mentor and review team members to promote high-quality design practices.
  • Oversee talent productivity and foster an inclusive, high-performing culture.
  • Anticipate project delays and proactively implement alternative solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
  • 10–20 years of experience in high-level electronics design and/or hardware management.
  • Proven track record of managing highly technical teams.
  • Expertise in designing and developing complex electronic systems.
  • Strong skills in precision analog data acquisition and high-speed digital circuit development.
  • Ability to translate high-level goals into detailed work package plans.
  • Proficient in planning and scheduling across short- and long-term timelines.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and delegation capabilities.
  • Excellent operational decision-making and stakeholder engagement abilities.
