Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Team Lead to join our manufacturing team at our Stapylton Plant.

This is a full-time permanent role on a rotating roster, with overtime available.

  • 12-hour shifts, Day - 6am – 6pm and Night - 6pm – 6am.
  • Weekends and Public Holidays as part of roster paid at penalty rates.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating production machinery alongside the production team, supervising the production team on shift, and dealing with production issues and escalating as required.

A strong leadership background and experience in reporting, documentation, and compliance are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate production machinery alongside the production team.
  • Supervise the production team on shift, including 3 tradespeople.
  • Deal with production issues and escalate as required.
  • Foster a great work culture and team environment.
  • Contribute to project work, including installation and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Background in Food, FMCG or packaging environment preferred.
  • Able to deal well under pressure and manage competing demands.
  • Experience in reporting, documentation, and compliance.
  • A proactive attitude and commitment to safety.
