About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Social Media Specialist to drive the growth of our social and digital channels, building engagement with our customers, awareness of our brands, and share of voice within the beauty landscape.

The Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute social marketing strategies for a portfolio of brands, aligning with MECCA brand DNA
  • Collaborate with brand marketing to create engaging content for our channels, intrinsically understanding brands and products
  • Amplify key marketing, business, and trade messages across MECCA marketing channels, including PR, influencer, digital, instore, events, creative, and design
  • Prepare post-activity reporting to share internally and with brand partners
  • Ensure social channels support brand growth, customer acquisition, drive sales, and increase heart share with our community
  • Partner with trade, go-to-market, and brand marketing teams to ensure all digital marketing and social activity is supported by strong commercial targets
  • Link social content and performance to trade and commercial results, track metrics, report back to stakeholders, and use data to inform decisions
What You Will Bring
  • Experience in planning and content creation across all major social media platforms
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience in executing brand plans or guidelines
  • Skilled in mobile video filming, editing, and content creation
  • Data understanding, reporting, and using metrics to inform strategic decisions
  • Sound presentation skills and the ability to influence or inspire change
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Ability to be adaptable and simplify the complex
  • Unwavering commitment to continuous improvement, taking initiative, and working independently and efficiently
  • Experience in, or a passion and understanding of, the beauty industry
