About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Social Media Coordinator to join our Smiggle Marketing Team. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for driving the social media strategy globally, delivering on brand and communication goals, increasing followers, reach, engagement, and conversion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and evolve the global social media strategy and guidelines in collaboration with the Marketing Manager.
  • Explore and implement new ways to leverage social media channels to increase brand awareness, sales, and drive traffic to our websites and stores.
  • Coordinate and implement content for our social channels, including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
  • Oversee and manage social media activities, including posting, sharing, liking, and responding.
  • Create social media advertising campaigns that deliver on specific brand and tactical objectives.
  • Provide weekly and monthly summary reporting and insights on the brand's social media performance.
  • Develop licensed social media campaigns, including concept ideation, copywriting, and image selection.
  • Oversee marketing customer service across social channels and marketing email inboxes.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualified in a marketing-related field.
  • 2-3 years' experience working in digital marketing, primarily with social media.
  • Demonstrated experience in social media platforms, such as Facebook ads manager and Iconasquare.
  • Working knowledge of the retail industry and KPIs would be advantageous.
  • Passionate about the Smiggle audience, brand, and product range.
  • Be creatively minded and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, including solid attention to detail.
