At Fulton Hogan, we're seeking an exceptional Structures/Civil Supervisor to join our team for a newly awarded 10-year program of works in the Gold Coast area. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to drive your career further and be part of a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage a self-perform team and subcontractors to deliver high-quality infrastructure projects.
  • Coordinate multiple cranes on site to ensure efficient and safe working practices.
  • Ensure workers implement control measures to minimize risk to health and safety through SWMS, Special Processes, and Corrective Actions.
  • Report incidents, non-conformances, and near misses, and participate in incident investigations as required.
  • Collaborate with project engineers/managers, civil/mechanical/electrical disciplines to achieve project goals.
  • Plan, calculate, and monitor daily cost of resources to optimize project outcomes.
  • Conduct Toolbox talks and prestart meetings to ensure a safe and productive work environment.

Requirements:

  • A suitable trade certificate (or equivalent) with experience as a field Supervisor working on civil projects involving water retaining structures.
  • Proven commitment to leading safety, quality, and environmental compliance on site.
  • Strong people management skills with the ability to develop effective teams.
  • A sound understanding of industrial construction methodologies and standards.
  • Strong management capabilities with the ability to lead from the front (both subcontractors and self-perform staff).
