About this Role
This position focuses on enhancing patient safety and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within a healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of a hospital-wide quality improvement program to promote integrated patient safety, quality improvement, and risk management practices.
- Contribute to identifying and managing risks across the hospital.
- Deliver educational sessions and engage staff in understanding the NSQHS Standards.
- Participate in and lead investigations and audits related to incidents, complaints, and process development.
- Provide administrative support in maintaining controlled documents throughout the organisation.
Requirements
We seek an experienced Registered Nurse/Midwife with a thorough grasp of the NSQHS Standards and principles of quality improvement and risk management. The ideal candidate will possess strong investigation and report writing skills, effective communication, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities, as well as a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
