
Enhancing Patient Care through Skilled Nursing

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Clinical Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our Outpatient Anaesthetic Triage Service. As a key member of our team, you will use your expertise to deliver exceptional patient care, continually developing from a competent to proficient practitioner.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain high practice standards and oversee delegated activities.
- Guide less experienced staff in their professional growth.
- Work closely with the Anaesthetic Medical Team to determine patient suitability for day-of-surgery anaesthetic evaluations.
- Optimise patient safety and surgical readiness.
- Support patients in making informed decisions about their care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and share best practices.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development.
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with AHPRA.
- Current practising certificate.
- At least three years of post-registration experience.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Experience mentoring and guiding student nurses, enrolled nurses, and less experienced registered nurses.
- Sound understanding of legislation, industry standards, quality improvement systems, and contemporary nursing practices.
