Speech Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Pathologist to join our KU Allied Health Program. As a Speech Pathologist with KU Children's Services, you will play a vital role in providing early intervention services to children aged birth to 7 years, across NSW and Victoria.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and maintain respectful relationships with families, children, and other stakeholders
- Support the developmental needs of children through play-based learning environments
- Administer and score a range of assessments, and provide feedback to families
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive support to children and families
- Develop and implement individualized plans to support children's communication and developmental needs
- Provide training and support to families and other professionals on communication and developmental strategies
- Australian recognized tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology
- Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia
- Experience in establishing and maintaining respectful relationships with a range of stakeholders
- Experience in supporting the developmental needs of children
- Experience in administering and scoring a range of assessments
- Experience in report writing and providing feedback to families
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team
- Exceptional communication skills, written and oral
- Proficient using Microsoft Office package and online databases
- Meticulous time management and organisation skills
- Current drivers' license and use of a comprehensively insured, registered motor vehicle
- Senior First Aid Certificate
- Working with Children Check
- NDIS Worker Check or willing to obtain
- A Medicare Provider number or willing to obtain
