High Voltage Electrician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced High Voltage Electrician to join our maintenance team at our Gruyere project.

The Gruyere Gold Mine is an open pit operation located in the Yamarna greenstone belt, approximately 200 kilometres east of Laverton in Western Australia.

As our next Mobile Plant HV Electrician, you will play a key role in maintaining our MT4400 and Komatsu Electric Drive Haul Trucks. Key responsibilities include regular electrical services, fault finding, diagnosis and repairs, and component replacements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing periodic statutory electrical testing and inspections
  • Handling minor electrical works
  • Electrical breakdowns
  • Testing and documentation

Additional duties include but are not limited to performing periodic statutory electrical testing and inspections, handling minor electrical works, electrical breakdowns, testing and documentation, and build your future with one of WA's most trusted contractors.

Requirements:

  • Current WA A Grade Electrical Licence
  • Minimum 2 years' experience with heavy earthmoving fleet maintenance and repairs
  • Exposure to GE drive systems
  • Experience with statutory testing on electrical infrastructure
  • CPR / LV rescue training
  • First Aid certification
  • National Police Clearance
  • White Card
  • Drivers licence
  • Motivated, independent worker with a positive attitude towards health and safety
