**Job Title:** Power Generation Field Service Technician

We are seeking an experienced electrical technician to join our field service team in Laverton, specializing in power generation.

  • Conduct scheduled and unscheduled service works on generator sets and engine control panels
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose engines/generators up to 3350KVA
  • Modify wiring looms/diagrams
  • Commission new generators/systems, transfer switches, and master controllers
  • Collaborate with the mechanical service team
  • Prioritize high safety standards in all work
  • Participate in an after-hours on-call roster

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A trade-qualified electrician certificate
  • A current electrical licence and/or electrical contractor's license
  • Previous industrial experience as a senior or sole electrician
  • In-depth understanding of control systems (PLC and relay logic)
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics
  • Strong PC skills
  • Excellent teamwork and customer service skills
  • A current, valid driver's license
  • Previous experience in power generation products is highly regarded but not essential
