About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Worker to join our team at Calvary Care. As a Personal Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and lifestyle needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support residents to live independently and make choices about their care.
  • Contribute to the assessment and observation of residents' needs and wants.
  • Deliver a range of personal care tasks, including daily hygiene, continence management, and mouth and eye care.
  • Identify and escalate any changes in residents' behavior, cognition, or physical attributes to the supervisor.
  • Report any incidents witnessed via the relevant incident reporting procedure.
Requirements
  • Certificate Level III (Individual Support)
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role in aged care, healthcare, or hospitality
  • Effective interpersonal communication and working knowledge of WH&S and Infection Control
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize workloads and work within an established framework.
