About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Personal Care Worker to join our team at Calvary Care. As a Personal Care Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents by providing high-quality care and support.
Main Responsibilities
- Support residents to live the life they choose, promoting their independence and autonomy.
- Contribute to the physical, emotional, and lifestyle needs of our residents, through assessment and observation.
- Deliver a range of personal care tasks, including daily hygiene, such as showering, shaving, dressing, mouth and eye care, and continence management.
- Identify and escalate to supervisor any changes in resident behavior, cognition, or physical attributes.
- Report any incidents witnessed via the relevant incident reporting procedure and alert the RN.
About You
- Certificate Level III in Individual Support.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role in aged care, healthcare, or hospitality.
- Effective interpersonal communication, both written and verbal.
- Working knowledge of WH&S and Infection Control.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize workloads.
