Senior Preconstruction Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Preconstruction Manager / Senior Estimator to lead our growing Preconstruction team in hands-on leadership roles.

This is not just an oversight position – it's a roll-up-your-sleeves, cradle-to-grave estimating role where you'll:

  • Lead strategy and client relationships
  • Perform detailed take-offs and bid creation
  • Collaborate directly with senior leadership to win work and grow the pipeline

Responsibilities

Take ownership of the entire preconstruction process (lead projects cradle to grave)

Perform take-offs, create bids, and manage proposals (Conceptual, negotiated, Hard-bid, and Design-Build Projects)

Closely collaborate with executives, project teams, clients, and subcontractors

Drive project strategy and pricing decisions

Play a critical role in winning exciting projects and expanding market presence

Qualifications

5+ years of estimating or preconstruction experience (commercial/industrial GC or developer background preferred)

Strong hands-on skills in take-offs, quantity surveying, and bid creation

Comfortable leading strategy discussions while actively building estimates

Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills

Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field (preferred, not required)
