We are seeking a Senior Accountant to contribute to delivering high-quality financial and tax services to clients.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, tax returns, and activity statements for various entities.
  2. Financial Insights: Provide valuable financial insights and assist with forecasting to help our clients make informed business decisions.
  3. Client Portfolio Management: Support the management of client portfolios and ensure timely completion of engagements.
  4. Process Improvement: Utilise Xero and other accounting software to streamline workflows, improve reporting, and enhance productivity.
  5. Jr. Team Mentorship: Mentor junior team members to help them develop their skills and knowledge.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Business/Commerce (Accounting) or equivalent qualification.
  • CA or CPA Qualification: Hold a Chartered Accountant or Certified Practising Accountant qualification, or be nearing completion.
  • Financial Statement Experience: Have experience preparing financial statements and tax returns for individuals and/or businesses.
  • Software Proficiency: Be proficient in Xero and other accounting software.
  • Proactive Approach: Demonstrate a proactive approach to accounting and advisory services.
