About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Vocational Education and Training (VET) and Workplace Learning (WPL) Coordinator to join our team at Applecross Senior High School.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the school's VET and WPL programs.
  • Assist the VET Manager in promoting, enrolling, and resulting students in diverse opportunities.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate VET/WPL programs.
  • Train support staff in VET and WPL.
  • SOURCE work placements and induct new employers.
  • Complete associated documentation to meet compliance requirements.
  • Conduct workplace site checks.
  • Monitor student attendance and progress in external programs and the workplace.
  • Regularly check Workplace Learning hours.
Requirements
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • A willingness to work collaboratively in a team environment to support students, VET staff, and the VET Manager.
